ICES 5th Annual Conference on Behavioral and Experimental Economics

The Interdisciplinary Center for Economic Science (ICES) at George Mason University announces its fifth annual conference on Behavioral and Experimental Economics. The conference will be held Thursday May 14, 2015 at the Arlington campus. We’re delighted to have Professor Cary Deck from University of Arkansas as our keynote speaker.

Individuals interested in participating please send a title and abstract to by Friday April 10, 2015. Late submissions cannot be accepted. The final program will be available shortly after that date.

Conference registration is free. ICES will provide breakfast, lunch, and coffee-breaks, and will also host a before-dinner reception for participants, all without charge. Only dinner is not included.

The Arlington campus of George Mason University is easily accessible via Metro from both Union Station and Reagan National Airport. Those driving to the event may use paid street parking or the Founders Hall parking garage.

Location: 3351 Fairfax Drive, Arlington, VA 22201 (Founders Hall: Classrooms 113, 118, and 210 depending on the session)

Parking: Parking is available at the B1 and B2 levels of Founder’s Hall. Parking in Founder’s Hall requires a parking pass, so please let us know if you will need one. In addition, paid street parking is available.

Metro: If you are taking the metro, the Arlington campus is a 5-10 minute walk from either the Virginia Square or Clarendon metro stations on the Orange Line.

Food and Beverages: Coffee, water. and juice will be available during meals and coffee breaks. Bagels and muffins will be served for breakfast. Sandwiches (vegetarian option available) will be provided for lunch. There will be a happy hour at the Tara Temple Bar after the conference.
